Not only it's a great game (better controls, better mechanics, tons of content, actually has a story - HLD doesn't, it's just a collection of mood pieces), they've been releasing even more content for free and keeping the GOG version up to date. If you're concerned about dev ethics, I highly recommend Hollow Knight. Enemies and medkits respawn you use a heal point and the area's boss is still alive. It uses invisible checkpoints + manual save/heal points. Katzapult: Ok, I´ve considered buying Hyperlight Drifter, but if the following thread is correct, the game is abandoned on gog by the publisher.
